HOW DO I PRONOUNCE 'BEBE'?
When trying to pronounce the bebe name, think of "to be… or not to be" – the phrase that inspired Manny Mashouf when he opened the first bebe San Francisco boutique in 1976. Mashouf selected the name 'bebe' reflecting on the Shakespearean reference "to be… or not to be" for inspiration. The word bebe also has literal translations, including the Turkish word for woman and the Persian name for the queen in a deck of cards. It seems only fitting that the name bebe reinforces the mission of the company: to satisfy the fashion needs of the modern, sexy and sophisticated woman.

DO YOU OFFER INTERNSHIPS?
bebe currently offers select internship opportunities. Internships are educationally focused, non-paid and based either in our merchandising and design studio in Los Angeles or in our corporate offices in Brisbane. A fashion education is recommended in order to take part in our eight or twelve-week programs in design, merchandising, production or marketing. DO YOU LICENSE OR SELL PRODUCTS THROUGH WHOLESALE?
All merchandise is sold exclusively in bebe, 2b bebe stores in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We do license stores internationally. We have international bebe-licensed stores in Dubai, Egypt, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
WHAT IS THE BEBE AFFILIATE PROGRAM?

WHAT IS BEBE'S CURRENT POLICY REGARDING THE USE OF FUR?
The use of real fur has never been an integral part of bebe's design strategy and bebe is not using any real animal fur in any of its current products and collections. bebe has always believed in the humane treatment of animals. Accordingly, during previous periods of real fur use, bebe was sure to limit such use to only a very small piece of its overall collection; we also required its vendor base to acknowledge and accept certain obligations designed to help ensure the ethical treatment of animals.
DOES BEBE OFFER A CREDIT CARD?
bebe does not currently offer a credit card. However, we take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club and JCB credit cards.
