they make my legs look slimmer than any of my other yoga pants made of thin black material, for me they were comfortable and flattering...for reference, I am 120 pounds with 37-38 inch hips and I bought these in size small...I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and I loved the longer length of these pants- they were a little on the longer side thus giving a more leg lengthening effect, at least on me, a more petite girl may find them a bit long...there isnt a lot of lycra in these pants but the slim cut through the thighs made them good and they have this curve enhancing effect on the rear end...hope this helps someone April 2, 2013
